Meet Dr. Corin

Balanced Life Chiropractic is a family and wellness based practice. Located in the heart of Vermont in the Mad River Valley, and is owned and operated by Dr. Corin Bauer, D.C.

Dr. Corin is a Vermont native who was born in Burlington and raised in Fayston. She attended Harwood Union High School in Duxbury, Vermont and followed that by attending Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada (aka… The north shore of Lake Tahoe) where she graduated with a Bachelors in Business and a minor in Hotel Restaurant, Resort Management.

After a short stint in the conference planning management field, and whilst living in Marietta, GA she was exposed to students attending Life University and studying Chiropractic. It was there that she met and lived with  Dr. Jennifer Accurso, D.C. of Abundant Life Chiropractic, in VA. Dr. Jen was attending chiropractic school with her older sister Dr. Alison Accurso, D.C. of Mataro Chiropractic in Mataro, Spain mataroquiropractic. They came from a family of chiropractors (accursochiro.com), starting with their father, and they as well as their two older siblings are now chiropractors. Needless to say, Dr. Jen and Dr. Ali were the first to plant the chiropractic seed for Dr. Corin.

That seed proceeded to flourish over the next few years and become the overwhelming desire for Dr. Corin to become a chiropractor herself. In October of 2004 Dr. Corin started to attend chiropractic school at Life Chiropractic College West, in Hayward, CA. LCCW was started by Dr. Sid Williams, D.C. who also founded Life University in GA.

It was there, in the heart of the San Francisco Bay area that Dr. Corin became the chiropractor that she is today. She practices six different types of chiropractic adjusting technique to specifically work through what each individual patient is experiencing. From light force adjustments to deeper osseous adjustments Dr. Corin adjusts children and adults alike to restore spinal health and motion.

In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her dog Bradie. As well, she is an avid life-long skier of Mad River Glen,  she enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, biking, and all of the outdoor activities Vermont has to offer, and she spends time with her family and friends outdoors as much as possible. She raises and grows as much of her own food as she can with the help of her family and enjoys living off of the land and giving back to it as much as possible in order to sustain balance in the long run.
